Year 11/13 girls out to defend their crown

Finally good luck to our Year 11/13 girls side who head to Whanganui for their CD tournament next week. Coach Amy Foreman has been able to name a strong squad to defend their CD championship title. The team is headlined by a strong core of players who are already experiencing top quality women’s cricket with the Bartercard Taranaki women’s team. These players include Anika Scott, Caitlin Marshall, Zoe Ellerton-Kelly, Charlotte Butler, Sophie Campbell, and Cara Hollard. The tournament runs Sunday through to Tuesday and the team plays a mixture of T20 and 40 over matches against Wairarapa, Nelson, Hawkes Bay and Manawatu.
