The Jamie Watkins Year 7/8 Boys Festival Day wrapped up with a bang today!

Massive shoutout to Stratford Primary for once again being amazing hosts – what a week it’s been!
Stratford Primary faced off against Francis Douglas Memorial College, while Mangorei took on a strong Highlands team.
FDMC and Highlands battled their way to the final, mirroring last season’s showdown.
With an outstanding bowling performance, Highlands restricted FDMC to 51 all out.
A cautious approach led Highlands to chase down the target with just 2 wickets down in under 11 overs, clinching the Jamie Watkins Trophy!
In the 3rd place play-off, Mangorei chased down Stratford’s 97 in just 9.3 overs with only 1 wicket down.
Performance of the Day, sponsored by David and Luke from The Mobile Cricket Company, went to Kylen Booker from Stratford Primary for his fighting 46 of 34 balls against FDMC!
Once again congratulations to all teams that participated in the Festival Days, as well as the Prelim games.
