Taranaki Year Group Development Programme 2025/26
These programs have been designed to provide the best possible opportunities for both player and coach development, while ensuring cricket is fun, engaging, and supportive for all!
Program Outlines:
Year 5/6 Boys Development Program
Phase 1: Training & Match Days (Nov–Dec)
- 13th Nov 5pm – Training
- 16th Nov (Time TBC) – Match day (2 X T10’s)
- 27th Nov 5pm – Training
- 30th Nov (Time TBC) – Match day (2 X T20’s)
- 11th Dec 5pm – Training
- 14th Dec (Time TBC) – Match day (1 X 30 Over)
Phase 2: Hawke’s Bay Camps (Jan)
- OPTIONAL CAMP – Year 5/6 Camp: 14–17 January
- Camps will be led by assigned parent/coach(es)
Phase 3: District Fixtures (Feb–Mar)
- 1st Feb – vs Whanganui (Home)
- 8th Feb – vs Horowhenua-Kapiti (Home)
- 22nd Feb – vs Whanganui (Away)
- 8th Mar – vs Horowhenua-Kapiti (Away)
Coach Development
As mentioned previously, this program is designed to develop both players and coaches. We are wanting to support parents and coaches to grow their skills in a structured environment. Please register your interest in the link below if you are wanting to develop your coaching skills.
Cost Breakdown
Phase 1 and 3 together – $249.99 (This includes: Coaching, Clothing (playing top & cap), Balls, Venue/facility hire, Administration)
OPTIONAL Phase 2 – $335.00 (includes camp fee, meals & accommodation, petrol voucher for coach)
Year 7 Boys Development Program
