New TCA Community Development Coordinator

Welcome aboard to Taranaki Cricket’s newest addition to the team!

Janita Carlyon has joined TCA as the Community Development Coordinator, replacing Helen Foreman who finished up at the end of last season.

Janita comes to us from the Head Held High speech and drama company in Auckland. Janita had worked for them for six years (including remote work from New Plymouth for the past 5 years) as the Customer Services Team Leader, managing the administration of in-school and out of school classes for more than 800 children.
In her new role, Janita will look after the running of TCA’s junior competitions, coaching programmes, junior development and representative programmes and general office administration.

It’s a big job and some big shoes to fill but we’re very excited to have Janita on board and we’re confident she has all the skills and attributes to do a fantastic job. Her experience working with kids in particular should ensure she has all the knowledge needed to hit the ground running.
Janita says she has always been an avid sports fan, and as well as that enjoys photography and playing board games with her family.
