Cow Corner Cull Club launched!
Taranaki Cricket is calling on its farming members and rural communities to help support us to continue delivering cricket in the region.
We’re excited to have launched the Cow Corner Cull Club scheme, where cockies can donate a cull cow to TCA.
Cricket can be an expensive sport, especially at the higher levels, TCA general manager Ryan Evans said, and money raised would go towards the cost of keeping TCA’s senior representative teams on the park.
“We know our rural network are passionate about the game and like us are very proud of the performances of our representative teams, both on and off the field.
“Getting them there can be a costly exercise and while we’re very lucky to have the generous support of sponsors and funders to help us cover a lot of the costs, more support is always needed.”
Farmers who donate a cow will receive a TCA merchandise pack ahead of next cricket season and a “day at the cricket” at Pukekura Park, on TCA.
