Big week for Taranaki players representing CD

Spin bowler Liam Carr had a memorable day for the CDA side at the National Men’s Provincial A tournament in Taupo.

Playing Canterbury, Carr took the impressive figures of 5/39 off 10 overs to lead CD to a 33-run win. The same match also saw Taranaki’s other CDA rep, Jordan Gard (2/18), chip in with two key wickets in the tail.

CD finished the competition with two wins and two losses.

Congratulations to Taranaki’s CDE U19 reps Josh Gard and William Jull who head to the national U19 championships in Lincoln this coming week. Taranaki coach Chris Coombe is also with the side as assistant coach. Go well lads.
