AGE GROUP PATHWAY PROGRAMME & AGE GROUP REPRESENTATIVE

Taranaki Cricket will be adopting the Sport New Zealand ‘Balance is Better’ Philosophy from the start of the 2021/2022 season. ‘Balance is Better’ is an evidence-based philosophy to support quality sport experiences for all young people, regardless of ability, needs and motivations. It is about young people staying involved in sport for life and realising their potential at the right time.

For further information go to www.balanceisbetter.org.nz

With this in mind Taranaki Cricket is moving away from our traditional age group representative programme.  Taranaki Cricket will be focusing on providing everyone an opportunity within the primary age group with the first representative teams being the U15 Boys and Year 9 & 10 Girls respectively.

For more information please click here for the Balance is Better Plan 2021 2022 or click here for our Balance is Better – Questions & Answers‘ for more detailed information about the programme.
